This is to notify the public of the commencement of Associate Certificate programmes in the following courses:
- NAUTICAL SCIENCE
- MARINE ENGINEERING
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for the Associate Certificate programmes in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering must:
- Possess a minimum qualification of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O’level certificate
with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics
and any other two (2) science subjects, OR
– National Diploma or Bachelors degree in any science related programme.
(b) Not be less than 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit.
(c) Be physically, mentally and medically fit.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates should visit the Charkin Maritime Academy main Campus at Km 4, East – West road, Ozuoba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and fill the application Form. Candidates who are unable to visit the Academy Campus may have the Form sent to them by email for processing. Successful Candidates will be notified within a week of Form submission.
Application Fee is NGN10,000.00 only.

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT
Academic activities for the first Batch of Associate Certificate Course students will commence on Monday 11th November 2024 in the Charkin Maritime Academy Main Campus.
